CONSCIOUSNESS IS CHANGING THE WAY THE WORLD TACKLES POVERTY
I fast once a week. Money I save from skipping breakfast and lunch at the office goes toward buying food for the poor in Bangladesh. I started this program in early 2016 and called it "Fast For Hunger Project".
In the beginning there was only a handful of poor elderly. I gave ID cards to the most needy. Every Thursday when they come with their cards, they are given rice or flour. Very soon after seeing the positive results, others started joining us; and we started growing.
Either by fasting once a week, skipping a meal at home or office, or just skipping an appetizer or dessert at the restaurant with your friends and family, you can help us provide meals for an elderly in need.
